Aerial Photography & Videography - McKinney, TXBringing you views you've never seen before
Not too long ago, the only option you had for aerial photography was to hire a plane or helicopter. You can imagine how few could afford it. Today, Cyanthus brings you aerial images that fit almost any budget, no imagination necessary. Thanks to the rapid advances in drone technology (also known as Unmanned Aerial Vehicles or UAV’s), aerial photographs, videos and data provide you with views and information that you’ve never seen or had access to before.
Cyanthus is a forerunner in delivering UAV aerial imaging and data collection to the Southwestern United States. Based in McKinney, TX, we are prepared to travel to wherever your project takes us. We offer commercial and personal aerial photography and videography for a range of needs and industries, from oil and gas to construction to real estate. We specialize in 3D orthomosaics, models, photogrammetry, high altitude inspections, and multi-spectral analysis for the oil and gas industry, as well as agriculture. Our services will save you money over traditional approaches to inspecting gas pipelines, wind turbines, bridges or performing construction progress photos. Your only limit is your imagination; Cyanthus is ready to handle your needs.
We have our FAA 333 exemption #13880 and are skilled, licensed pilots, with a commercial multi-engine instrument rating and over 250 hours of aircraft flight time and experience. In our spare time we also volunteer our UAV services for local disaster response and humanitarian aid.
We’d love to discuss your project and see how we can serve you.
Drone technology is rapidly changing, and with advances happening constantly we like to stay on the cutting edge. Our current standby drone is the DJI Phantom 3 with a 4K HD camera mounted on a 3-axis gimbal to provide high stability and silky smooth video and photos. Moreover, we keep a pulse on the latest technology and are constantly upgrading to utilize the best equipment available.
Approval by the FAA to operate drones in the National Airspace System (NAS) requires Exemption 333. Our exemption certificate #13880 shows that we are legally permitted to operate. Anyone can buy a drone these days, but not everyone appreciates all the regulations. At Cyanthus, with experience in flying planes and involvement with an actual airport, we understand air safety.
